New Loft Windows

Dear people,

We had a new roof installed on the peak late last year and while they were repairing the support for the peak, we asked our special builders to replace the two windows in the loft. Voila is the result.

 They still have painting to finish on the frame and wall around the window but we now have two windows which are secure and can be opened without getting a hernia and which will be able to be removed in case we had to get out on the roof. They also fold in to be cleaned if needed.

This is the end of the major restoration we hope but one never knows what the next step God has in our efforts to restore and preserve this wonderful place.

Time to sit back and start saving for the next project but first we need to demolish garage and paint or put siding on Drexel Hill abode before the township gives us a citation for ugly house.

I guess Lowell was right when he tagged my purchase of the camp "Joan's folly" because in the past four years we have rebuilt kitchen, installed new wiring and fixtures and outlets, replaced septic system with 1,000 gallon state of the art system,  rebuilt bathroom, replaced old dock with new all-weather dock and replaced all three roofs. The next project is to replace sliding glass doors and shore up the foundation under the porch and under living room. But not anytime soon, for sure.
